FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils women's soccer team took the road to start conference play with a battle against the Indiana Tech Warriors. The matchup ended deadlocked at one.
The Blue Devils were aggressive in the first half, taking five shots on net, but were unable to come away with anything offensively.
Defensively, they held the Warriors to just two total shots (one on net) in the first half.
The scoring began early in the second half, when Bridget Finneran set up Jenny Dear for her first goal of the season to give the Blue Devils a 1-0 lead in the 49th minute
Danielle Dunn answered back for the Warriors, assisted by Kate Wallace, in the 66th minute. LTU 1, IT 1
Gabi Nelson was in net for the Blue Devils, she recorded three saves in the draw.
