Southfield, MI - The Lawrence Technological University men's soccer team hosted Taylor University Trojans at home in the Blue Devil Classic. After an early score by LTU, the Trojans answered with a goal right before the break. Both teams went scoreless in the second half as this game ended in a 1-1 tie.

A cross from Zane Arnold, followed by a passing header to Mario Colella set up the Blue Devils first goal in the 18th minute.

Right before the half, the Trojans free kick led to a Pablo Gonzalez goal, deflected off an LTU defender.

LTU out shot Taylor 11-9 (5-3 on frame)

Goalkeeper, Marko Matovski played all 90 minutes ending with two saves.

The next Blue Devils matchup is against Point Park University tomorrow night at 7 PM at Blue Devils Stadium for day two of the Blue Devil classic
