Dearborn, Mich. - The Lawrence Tech women's soccer team defeated host Michigan-Dearborn in another WHAC matchup Wednesday night, winning 3-0 after recording its eigth shutout of the season. The Blue Devils improve to 7-3-2 overall and 4-2 in the conference, while the Wolverines fall to 5-6-1 and 1-4-1.

Sydney Schnurstein replaced her at halftime. The two keepers recorded a combined shutout.
From the opening whistle, Lawrence Tech displayed its dominance on the field. LTU didn't waste any time to take the first lead of the game as fifth-year senior DiOnna Hill opened the scoring in the 5th minute. Junior Maliea May scored at the 19th minute to give the Blue Devils a 2-0 lead by halftime.
The Blue Devils continued to apply offensive pressure in the second half, and didn't let their foot off the gas. Freshmen Hinana Takashima found the net at the 67th minute, which then ended the scoring for the Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils will head out to Howell, Michigan on Saturday to face Cleary University at 7:00 p.m.
