Southfield, Mich.- The Lawrence Tech men's soccer team defeated Concordia in their homecoming game in another WHAC matchup Saturday afternoon, winning 3-0 after recording its fifth shutout of the season. The Blue Devils improve to 10-1-1 overall and 4-0-1 in the conference, while the Cardinals fall to 1-8-3 and 0-3-2.

Kieran Malachino started the game for the Blue Devils. Concordia had two shots on goal and Malchino keeper recorded a shutout.
From the opening whistle, Lawrence Tech displayed its dominance on the field. LTU didn't waste any time to take the first lead of the game as senior Reece Still opened the scoring in the 26th minute. The Blue Devils headed into the second half with the 1-0 lead.
The Blue Devils continued to apply offensive pressure in the second half, and their efforts were rewarded with another goal. Graduate student Thomas Pereira found the net right away in the second half at the 48th minute.Senior Gonzalo Ferrando finished off the scoring for the Blue Devils at the 67th minute for a 3-0 ending.
The Blue Devils will host to University of Michigan - Dearborn on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
