Livonia, Mich. -- The Lawrence Tech men's soccer team battled against the Crusaders of Madonna University in the WHAC tournament quarter finals, that ended in a 2-1 win for Madonna.

Kieran Malachino started the game for the Blue Devils. The Crusaders got 11 shots on goal and were able to put two through the net.
The Crusaders opened up the scoring early at the 5 minute mark. However, the Blue Devils responded back, with junior Jacob Schleicher tying the game at the 18th minute. The Blue Devils finished the half with a 1-1 tie. With only 17 seconds left in the game, Madonna found the back of the net, which ended up being the game winning goal, taking Madonna to the WHAC semi-finals.
The Blue Devils ended their season with a 11-5-3 overall record (5-3-3 WHAC).
