Lawrenceville, GA - The Lawrence Technological University men's soccer team one goal wasn't enough to defeat the Truett McConnell Mountaineers.
Lawrence Tech started out the game with two shots within the first ten minutes. However, the Mountaineers opened up the scoring in the 22:37 mark of the game. After LTU outshooting the Mountaineers 7-2 in the first half, still went into the second half down by one.
The Blue Devils looking to tie this game up, taking multiple shots at the start of the second half, but not getting lucky to get one past the Mountaineers keeper. At the 56:52 mark in the second half, Truett McConnell extends their lead to 2-0. Lawrence Tech not giving up after the Mountaineers goal, taking nine shots hoping to eventually get one past their keeper. On the tenth shot after the Mountains goal, the Blue Devils finally capitalized to make it a one goal game. Freshmen
Pablo Calvo scored the goal at the 84:02 mark of the second half with his first collegiate goal. The Blue Devils attempting to tie the game up, only have a little over five minutes left in the game, takes two more shots, but not getting passed the mountaineers keeper.

The Blue Devils head to Spring Arbor, Michigan on Saturday September, 9th to play Spring Arbor University at a 2:00 p.m kick off time.
