SOUTHFIELD--Lawrence Tech will serve as the host school when it plays Michigan College Hockey Conference East Division rival Michigan in a showdown of American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 3 top-10 powers on Sunday, Jan. 21, at the
UM-Dearborn Ice Arena. This is a make-up date of the teams' original meeting at the Blue Devils main home venue at Farmington Hills Arena last Friday, when the game was postponed due to poor road conditions caused by a snowstorm.
Tickets can be purchased via the
link or at the gate on gameday.
In the most recent ACHA national rankings, LTU is at No. 3 while the Wolverines--who are the defending Division 3 champions--are 10th. Lawrence Tech has won 13 games in a row and is 16-3-1 on the season and 10-0-1 in the MCHC-East, while the UofM is 12-4 overall and 2-4 in the conference. The Blue Devils shut out the Wolverines, 3-0, in their last meeting on Saturday in Canton.
