MIDLAND, Mich. - In the opening matchup at Midland Civic Center, Lawrence Tech fell to Northwood 1-0 in a defensive duel that required a shootout. Neither side managed to score throughout regulation or the 5-minute overtime period. In the shootout, Ben Dehaas converted his attempt for Lawrence Tech, but the rest of the shooters were unable to find the back of the net. Goaltender Matej Hronsky put on a standout performance for LTU, making 49 saves through regulation and overtime to keep the game scoreless.

REDFORD, Mich. - In the rematch at Redford Ice Arena, Lawrence Tech was defeated by Northwood 6-2. LTU trailed 4-0 midway through the second period before Ben Dehaas got the team on the board with a short-handed goal at 14:54. Hudson Fisher then brought Lawrence Tech within two early in the third period with a goal assisted by Dehaas, but LTU could not complete the comeback as Northwood added a late tally to seal the victory. Goaltender Matej Hronsky recorded 30 saves on 36 shots on net for Lawrence Tech.

The Blue Devils will return on the 6th and 7th of November for a matchup against Aquinas College.
