SYLVANIA, Ohio - The Blue Devils fell just short against Lourdes University today in Ohio with a final score of 3-2. The Blue Devils got into some foul/card trouble today with 5 yellow cards and 11 fouls as a team. The Blue Devils took 15 shots in this game with 9 on goal. The Blue Devils were unable to get past the Lourdes goaltender more than twice.
Lourdes opened up the scoring for this one with 4 minutes left in the first half. Lourdes would increase their lead just one minute into the second half to make it 2-0. The Blue Devils finally got onto the scoreboard in the 79th minute after a goal by
Marc Martin. Lourdes would respond and make it 3-1 with little time left. A penalty kick in the 89th minute by
Jacob Schleicher would cut the lead down to 1, but it wouldn't be enough time to tie the game up.
Tiago Troyano led the way in the shots department for the Blue Devils, registering 3 in the contest. As for shots on goal,
