LIVONIA, Mich - The Lawrence Tech women's soccer team headed to Madonna on Wednesday, ending in a 1-1 draw. The Blue Devils record is 3-4-4 overall and 1-1-3 in conference, while the Crusaders are 4-5-3 overall and 2-2-2 in conference.    

Junior keeper Gabi Nelson started the game for the Blue Devils, making 6 saves against the Crusaders 7 shots.    

The Crusaders struck first at the 16:48 minute mark. The Blue Devils came back to tie the game up just a little over 16 minutes later with a goal from senior Kathleen Ferguson. The Blue Devils headed into the second half with a 1-1 tied game, which lasted until the end of the game. The Blue Devils were not able to break the tie in the second half.   

The Blue Devils will be back in action Saturday against Defiance, who is a new opponent into the WHAC, for a 7pm kickoff.
