SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Blue Devils mens soccer team was in action today taking on WHAC conference opponent Defiance College. The Blue Devils showed no struggle, winning this one 8-1. 

Reece Still opened up the scoring 20 minutes into the game to give LTU a 1-0 lead. About 10 minutes later, Guillermo Garcia would add to the lead off of a nice pass from Tiago Troyano. Tiago Troyano would add to the Blue Devils lead off of a feed by Reece Still to make the lead increase to 3-0. 3 minutes into the second half, Guillermo Garcia would score his second of the night to once again increase the LTU lead. Tiago Troyano would assist that one. Alexander Prenkocevic would score 20 minutes into the second half off of a pass from Carlos Escoto to make it a 5-0 Blue Devils lead. The Blue Devils did give up a goal in the second half, making the game 5-1 with 20 minutes remaining. Oli Pittham scored just 5 minutes after Defiances goal off of a Quim Allepuz pass to make it 6-1. Quim Allepuz once again found himself in the assist column on the Blue Devils 7th goal of the night by Ethan Harkins. Quim Allepuz wasnt done putting his name in the stat sheet, scoring the 8th and final goal of the night for the Blue Devils. 

After a dominating win, the Blue Devils mens soccer team is back in action on the 9th of October, where they will be traveling to Grand Rapids to take on Aquinas College.
