The senior guard out of Columbus, Ohio, has earned the conference's weekly award four times this season

ANN ARBOR, Mich.--Lawrence Tech senior guard Brandon Beavers (Columbus, Ohio/Harvest Prep Academy/Shawnee State University) has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the third time in a row, the WHAC office announced on Monday. Beavers is the only three-peat honoree this season and earns his fourth award (Dec. 11) in 2023-24 for the most in the conference.

Beavers led LTU to a 2-0 WHAC week with averages of 23.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 64.3 percent from the field, including 43.8 from the three-point arc. In a win against SHU, he posted game highs of 24 points (10-for-11 field goals) and eight rebounds. In a win at No. 14 Madonna, he scored 13 of his game-high 22 points in the second half to fuel the upset. He also had nine rebounds, three assists and two steals to help LTU go 3-0 versus the NAIA Top-25 this season.

On the season, Beavers continues his WHAC statistical rankings of first in scoring (21.0 ppg), second in rebounding (8.3) and steals (57), and third in assists (133) and fourth in three-point field goals made (70). For his NAIA career, the Blue Devils all-time scoring leader has 1,997 points in three seasons at LTU and the 2022-23 campaign at Shawnee State.

Lawrence Tech will take a 19-9 overall record as the No. 5 seed into Thursday's WHAC Tournament quarterfinal game at No. 4 Indiana Tech, starting at 7 p.m.
