SOUTHFIELD, MICH. — The Lawrence Technological University men's tennis team hosted Cornerstone in their first match since to their spring break trip, opening up conference play.

Redwane Bouhajda fell to J. Bender/J. Oliva 6-2 in the 2-doubles match
Evan Morgan/
Juan Jose Escriba Pastor were defeated by S. Castellanos/ L. Azuduiy in the top-flight battle 6-2, securing a Cornerstone point
Antoine Haurez/
Takuya King took down J. Micheloni/D. Alfaro 6-2.

In singles:
Castellanos won the top flight battle with Boivin handily, 6-1, 6-2.
CU 2, LTU 0
The 3-seed match between Haurez and Micheloni went to Haurez, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.

The King/Alfaro match in 4-singles was won by Alfaro, 2-6, 5-7.
CU 3, LTU 1.
In the 2-singles battle, Morgan took Azurduiy to three sets before coming out on top, 6-2, 3-6, 4-6.
CU 3, LTU 2.
Escriba Pastor lost the 5-singles match against Bender, 2-6, 4-6.
CU 4, LTU 2. This secured the victory for Cornerstone.
Bouhajda's 6-singles match against Oliva went three sets, and went to Bouhajda.6-2, 5-7, 10-8.
The Golden Eagles claim their victory, 4-3.
