SOUTHFIELD, MICH. — The Lawrence Technological University women's lacrosse team hosted Bethel in a battle of WHAC teams sitting on six wins. The Blue Devils made it back-to-back games with 22 goals.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Bethel scored first, in the first minute
• The Blue Devils scored the next 3 to take the lead
• The teams traded goals through the rest of the first quarter; LTU led 5-4 after 1
• Bethel tied the game twice in the second period
• The Blue Devils scored 4 of the next 5 goals to take a 11-8 lead into half
• LTU scored the only 5 goals in the third, taking a 16-8 lead into the fourth
• Lawrence Tech caps the second half outscoring Bethel 11-2
GAME NOTES:

Alaina Smythe set a school record with 9 goals

Sydney Robinson led all players with 14 points (5 goals, 9 assists)
• Lydia Andrews, Brea Larrison, Isabell Gerbrand led the Pilots with 4 points (3 goals, 1 assist) each

Alexandra Mojado (2-0) was credited with the win. She saved 4 shots in the victory
