Waleska, Ga.- The Lawrence Technological University Men's Lacrosse team headed out to No. 6 Reinhardt on Monday. The Blue Devils dropped this one 11-27. The Blue Devils are now 0-3 this season, while the Eagles are 4-0.
The Eagles started the scoring, however the Blue Devils responded quick with a goal from junior
Nick Soukup. Reinhardt went on to put two more in the back of the Blue Devils net. Junior
Thomas Irwin scored for the Blue Devils, making the score 2-3. The Eagles scored three more goals before closing out the first quarter. Junior
Jacob Cianci opened up the second quarter with a goal for the Blue Devils. The start of the second quarter was very back and forth until Reinhardt scored three unanswered goals at the end of the quarter, sending the Blue Devils into the second half down 6-11.
The Eagles continued to apply pressure scoring four more unanswered goals at the start of the third quarter. Junior
Grady Holmes was able to find the back of the net, making the score 7-15. Reinhardt went on to score eight more unanswered goals to end out the third quarter. The Eagles put two more in at the start of the fourth quarter. The Blue Devils were able to break the ten in a row goal streak for the Eagles by putting two goals in from senior
Ryan Pastorino and Cianci again. With two more goals scored for both teams, the game ended in a score of 11-27.
Sophomore Jerret Willershausen played in goal for the Blue Devils, facing 48 shots, saving 21.

The Blue Devils will continue their trip down south and head down to Roswell, Georgia Wednesday to play a scrimmage against Kennesaw State at 7:30pm.
