SOUTHFIELD, MICH. -- The Lawrence Technological University women's lacrosse team faced off against Marian in a battle for the #1 seed in the WHAC tournament. The Blue Devils came away with a 15-10 victory, clinching the #1 seed in the WHAC

How it happened: 

• The teams traded the first four goals
• LTU scored the next 7 goals, taking a 9-2 lead, forcing a Marian timeout
• The Knights got one back before half
• The Blue Devils got the lead to nine (14-5)
• Marian clawed back in the fourth, scoring 5 of the last 6 to make it a game.
• LTU wins 15-10

NOTES:

• Sydney Robinson recorded the first 50 goal, 50 assist season in school history. Robinson lead all players with 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists)
• Ella Grace Giedd and Katelynn Gray lead the way for the Knights with 4 points (3 goals, 1 assist) apiece
• Anabelle Acluche (9-1) earned the victory, she recorded 13 saves.
