BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. - The Lawrence Tech softball team hosted the Warriors of Indiana Tech on Sunday afternoon for another WHAC double header. The Blue Devils fell on the day with falling in game 1, 9-1 in 6 innings and falling in game 2, 12-0 in 5 innings. Lawrence Tech is now 8-8 in conference and 19-22 on their overall season. The Warriors are now 9-5 in conference and 27-10 on their overall season.
Game 1:
The Warriors applied the pressure early, scoring two runs in the first inning. Indiana Tech hit a three run home run in the fifth inning to give them the 5-0 lead. The Blue Devils scored their one and only run on the game from a passed ball and freshman
Abby Gardner scored. The Warriors dominated the sixth inning scoring four more runs and the game ended in six with the Warriors taking the 9-1 win. Gardner hit a triple, sophomore
Alyssa Bloomfield hit a double, and sophomore

Lily Morrissette had a hit. Sophomore Mikalya Timm pitched for the Blue Devils, allowing 10 hits for the Warriors and 9 runs scored. Timm struck out 3 Warriors in 5.2 innings pitched. Freshman
Jocelyn Hall closed out the game pitching 0.1 innings.
Game 2:
Indiana Tech came out firing once again, scoring four runs in the first inning and two more in the second inning. The Warriors continued to apply the pressure in the fourth inning, scoring five more runs. Indiana Tech ended the game in the fifth inning and scoring one more run, to end the game 12-0 in favor of the Warriors. Junior

Jocelyn Hall stepped in for the Blue Devils, allowing 6 hits and 7 runs scored for the Warriors. Hall struck out 3 Warriors in 3.2 innings pitched. Sophomore
Mikayla Timm closed out the game for the Blue Devils, allowing 1 hit and 1 run scored for the Warriors in 1 inning pitched.
