Sylvania, Ohio - The Lawrence Tech softball team headed out to Lourdes on Sunday afternoon for another WHAC doubleheader. The Blue Devils swept the day with winning game 1, 12-2 and game 2, 12-1. Lawrence Tech is now 7-3 in conference and 18-17 on their overall season. The Gray Wolves are now 3-7 in conference and 9-21 on their overall season.
Game 1:
The Gray Wolves grabbed the lead first, scoring 2 runs in the first inning, however the would be the Gray Wolves only runs scored all game. Sophomore

Abby Gardner, tying the game up. The Blue Devils broke the tie in the third inning, scoring two runs. Sophomore
Chloe Hug hit a home run in the fourth inning scoring two more runs for the Blue Devils, making the score 6-2. Markey sacrifice bunted in the fifth inning scoring Gardner. The Blue Devils scored two more runs in the sixth inning and three more runs in the seventh inning, ending the game at 12-2. Hug had 3 RBI's, freshman

Lily Morrissette, Gardner, and Markey all have 1 RBI. Senior
Clover Brandt pitched for the Blue Devils, allowing 5 hits for the gray Wolves and 2 runs scored. Brandt struck out 4 Gray Wolves in 7 innings pitched.
Game 2:
The Blue Devils started the scoring with junior
Morgan James hitting a single to center field, which ended up scoring Morrissette and junior
Gloriana Su'a in the second inning. Gardner hit a single through the left center, advancing to second on a throwing error, while Morissette and Hug scored for the Blue Devils in the third inning. The Gray Wolves scored their one and only run in the fourth inning, making the score 4-1 in favor of the Blue Devils. The Blue Devils ended up scoring four more runs in the fifth inning and four more in the seventh inning to secure their 12-1 victory over the Gray Wolves. James had 4 RBI's, Ash. Bloomfield, Morrissette, and Gardner had 2 RBI's, and senior
Nicole Powrozek had 1 RBI. Morrissette hit 1 triple, and both the Bloomfield's hit doubles in game 2. Freshman
