PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- The Lawrence Tech men's soccer team hit the road for the first time this season on Friday to University of Pikeville. The Blue Devils defeating the Bears 2-1. The Blue Devils record is now 2-1, while the Bears record is now 1-2.
Sophomore keeper
Eric Fifer started the game for the Blue Devils. The Bears got five shots on goal and were able to put one through the net.
After a scoreless first half, the Bears were able to slip one through just two minutes into the second half. Just three minutes the Blue Devils cut the Bears lead off with a goal from senior Reese Still with the help of junior Guillermo Garcia. Lawrence Tech broke the tie at the 65th minute with the game winning game from senior Jacob Schleicher.
The Blue Devils will continue their trip down in Kentuycky on Sunday against Georgetown for a 1pm kickoff.
