Men's Soccer Falls to the Cougars after a Intense Battle

Box Score SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- The Lawrence Tech men's soccer team hosted University of Saint Francis, falling 1-0. The Blue Devils record is now 2-3, while the Cougars record is now 3-3.   

Senior keeper Ian Janus started the game for the Blue Devils. The Cougars got five shots on goal with Janus saving four shots.   

After the scoreless first half, things started to heat in the second half with multiple cards. The Cougars struck with just 3 minutes left in the game to give them the go-ahead goal to win the game. With the Blue Devils generating many chances, they couldn't find the back of the net. Senior Jacob Schleicher and junior Guillermo Garcia lead the team with 2 shots on goal. 


The Blue Devils are back in action on Saturday at Huntington for a 3pm kickoff.
