The game started aggressively with Lawrence Tech taking a commanding 3-1 lead by the end of the first period. However, the Saints rallied back in the second period, managing to narrow the gap and end the period at a tight 5-4. The decisive moment came in overtime when Lahoussine Salama scored the game-winning goal, cementing the Blue Devils' thrilling victory.
