Blue Devils Sweep UM Dearborn At Home

Box Score SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils secured a significant victory in women's volleyball, sweeping the University of Michigan Dearborn 3-0 during their WHAC Conference match held on October 10, 2025, at the Don Ridler Fieldhouse in Southfield, MI. This win bolsters the Blue Devils' record, propelling them to a 15-5 overall and 8-4 in conference play.

Throughout the three-set match, the Blue Devils displayed dominant form, starting strong by taking the first set 25-14. They maintained their momentum in the second set with a commanding 25-13 win, and concluded the match with a 25-15 win in the third set. The team's top performers were key to their success; Sydney Eggleton led with 12 kills and also contributed significantly in blocks and digs. Nya Matley was another standout, registering 10 kills and topping the aces chart with 3, adding to the team's comprehensive performance.

The defensive play was equally notable with several players impacting the court. Kyndal James led with 3 blocks, supported by Nicole Hughes with 2 blocks. In the backcourt, Chrley Klint provided stalwart defense with 10 digs, aiding the Blue Devils' effort to control the tempo and flow of the match.

On the servicing front, the Blue Devils demonstrated skill and precision.
