Mens Hockey Splits with Indiana Tech

REDFORD, Mich. - The two-game series against Indiana Tech resulted in a split, with Lawrence Tech securing a thrilling home victory in the second contest. In the first game on November 7, 2025, LTU fell to Indiana Tech 5-1. Despite being outshot, the Blue Devils managed to get on the board in the second period with the team's lone goal from Bryce Iott, assisted by Adrian Gonzalez-Marin. Brett Tome had a strong performance in net, making 36 saves to keep the game within reach against Indiana Tech's offense. Although the result was a loss, the team showed resilience, gaining experience on the road before returning home.

Lawrence Tech bounced back strongly the following night on November 8, 2025, securing a vital 3-2 shootout victory at the Redford Ice Arena (MI). After falling into a 2-0 deficit in the first period, the Blue Devils launched a comeback. Nicholas Ceccarini netted a power play goal in the second period, assisted by Kevin Bond, to cut the lead to one. Bryce Iott scored his second goal of the series early in the third period, with an assist from Kaden Hemme, to tie the game and force overtime. The game-winning moment came in the shootout when Lukas Robinson buried the decisive goal to seal the win for LTU, backed by Brett Tome's solid 21-save performance.

The Blue Devils, currently boasting a 6-3 record, will be back in action on the 14th and 15th of November for a weekend series against WHAC foe Cleary.
