Blue Devils Men's Basketball Continues Their Early Succes To Start 2025-26 Season

LIVONIA, Mich. - In an exhilarating basketball face-off at Livonia, Mich., the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils triumphed against IU Kokomo with an 85-81 victory on November 8, 2025. The men's team showcased their strength in the Bernie Holowicki Classic, pushing their season to a strong start with a current record of 3-0.

The game kicked off with high energy as IU Kokomo's Joseph Annan Jr. opened the scoring, but Lawrence Tech quickly turned the tide. Kerem Sariaslan hit an early 3-pointer to reclaim the lead, setting the pace for the Blue Devils. Throughout the first period, the synergy between Sariaslan and Davin Walker was palpable, with the duo driving the team's scoring. Walker, notably, sank a vital 3-pointer assisted by Michael Afrakoff, placing the team at a comfortable 43-39 by halftime.
