Game 1 (2/14) - In a riveting MCHC Conference hockey game held on February 14, 2025, at the Redford Ice Arena, the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils showcased their dominance with a 5-1 victory against the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies. The conference game witnessed a series of strategic plays and remarkable performances, particularly from Lawrence Tech's forward line and their goaltenders.

From the get-go, Lawrence Tech charged ahead, establishing a solid 3-0 lead by the end of the first period. Goals from Benjamin De Haas, Jeff Rand, and Luke Radu set the tone for the game. Benjamin De Haas's goal proved especially pivotal, becoming the game-winner. The second period saw Alex Grove extend the lead to 4-0, further dampening the Grizzlies' spirits. In the third period, Gavin Holmes added one more to the tally, ensuring a comfortable win for the Blue Devils despite Oakland scoring a consolation goal.

Goalie Timothy Young was a fortress in net, making critical saves throughout the game. Their efforts were highlighted as key elements in this solid defensive display. Game 2 (2/16) - In a thrilling MCHC Conference hockey showdown at McCann Ice Arena, Lawrence Tech Blue Devils clinched a narrow victory against Oakland University Golden Grizzlies on February 16, 2025. The final horn sounded with a score of 4-3, favoring the Blue Devils, maintaining their unbeaten record this season to an impressive 25-0-2.

The game commenced strongly for Lawrence Tech as they led 1-0 after the first period. The intensity heightened in the second period with the Blue Devils extending their lead to 4-2, setting a challenging pace for the Golden Grizzlies. Goals were strategically netted by Lawrence Tech players with important goals being scored in both periods. Particularly, Will Jentz made the critical game-winning goal that secured their lead and eventual victory.

Key plays were made by Patrick McGowan, Sawyer Walker, and Payten Arnold, who all contributed with crucial assists throughout the challenging contest. Timothy Young played a pivotal role in safeguarding the net, underpinning the team's successful defense against a tough Oakland offense.
