OPELIKA, Ala. - After day 1 of the LTU Spring Break Invitational in Opelika, Alabama, the mens golf team finds themselves in 4th place of 13 teams.
The Blue Devils, coming off of a long break and beginning the spring season today, are currently led by Senior
Liam McEvoy who is -2 under. Currently, McEvoy sits at 2nd place in the individual standings. Following close behind is junior
Martin Wing, who is currently even par and in 6th place in the individual standings.
Thiago Ormachea (+5, 21st individual),
Santiago Herrero (+9, 41st individual), and
Carlos Ochoa (+9, 41st individual) also are competing in the invitational for the Blue Devils.Â
Currently, the Blue Devils are only 2 strokes behind the first place team and have a real chance at securing 1st place in the next two rounds.Â
