FORT WAYNE, Ind. - In a tightly contested WHAC lacrosse game on March 19, 2025, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils, represented by their women's team, faced a challenging opponent, the No. 9 Indiana Tech Warriors in Fort Wayne, Ind. Despite a leading halftime score of 7-6, the Blue Devils couldn't maintain their edge and succumbed to a 15-12 loss against the Warriors.
The Blue Devils showcased strong performances from seniors
Sydney Robinson and
Alaina Smythe, who combined for eight goals, demonstrating their offensive prowess. Robinson, particularly notable for her contributions, also provided six assists. Other notable contributors included freshmen

Bella Louwerse, with Louwerse also adding an assist to her goal tally. Lawrence Tech's goalie, freshmen
Madison Gugala, made 8 saves from 23 shots, battling hard against a persistent Indiana Tech offense.

With a current season record of 3-4, and 1-1 in conference play, Lawrence Tech will be eager to bounce back and improve their standings.
