SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - On April 3, 2025, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils women's lacrosse team delivered an impressive performance at their home in Southfield, Michigan, overwhelming the Rochester Christian Warriors with a final score of 22-1.

From the onset, the Blue Devils took control of the game, concluding the first half with a dominant score of 16-1. Their offensive prowess was evident as senior Alaina Smythe led the team with six goals, including the game-winning goal, showcasing why she is one of the key players this season. Contributing significantly, senior Sydney Robinson put up four goals, while junior Bella Louwerse added three, highlighting the team's well-rounded attack.

Assists were aplenty with senior Hannah Huebner, junior Morgan Waligora, senior Sydney Robinson, and junior Jocelyn Vander Zwaag setting up crucial plays, ensuring the Warriors couldn't regain any ground. In the goalie position, freshmen Madison Gugala and graduate student Rachel Costello played pivotal roles in defusing the attacks from the Warriors, contributing to the lopsided scoreline.

This win brings Lawrence Tech's season record to 6-4 overall, and 3-1 in conference play. They aim to maintain their winning streak as they look forward to their next game on April 9, at Blue Devils Stadium against Madonna.
