The match unfolded with significant challenges for the Blue Devils as they faced a competitive opponent in harsh conditions.

The first half concluded with the Marian Knights leading narrowly by 1-0 after Gustavo Nunes scored a pivotal goal at the 35:11 mark, putting the Blue Devils in a tight spot.
