SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Tech University Women's Soccer Blue Devils showcased a powerful performance against the University of Cincinnati Clermont Cougars on August 30, 2025, wrapping up the contest with an impressive 5-1 victory at the Blue Devils Stadium in Southfield, Michigan. 

The game started strongly for the Blue Devils, as senior Bridget Finneran scored the first goal, setting a positive tone that maintained a 1-0 lead by halftime. The second half saw a remarkable escalation in offense from Lawrence Tech, with freshmen Presley Jones scoring twice, thereby bringing her total contributions to two goals and an assist, making a significant impact on the game's outcome. freshmen Madison Cutler and sophomore Claire Wise further extended the lead with their goals, solidifying the team's dominant performance. Assists were notably provided by senior Reagan Boyle, senior Lindsay Ramos, senior Abigail Gray, and Presley Jones herself.

Defensively, the Blue Devils were well-guarded by goalie senior Gabi Nelson, who managed 2 saves from 3 shots on goal. The Blue Devils' strategic play and effective teamwork were evident as they controlled the game and kept the Cougars at a single goal. With this win, Lawrence Tech moves to a season record of 1-1-1.
