SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Lawrence Technological University men's soccer fell 3-0 at home to Huntington (IN) on Saturday evening at Blue Devils Stadium.
Huntington struck first in the 21st minute when the Foresters found the back of the net. The Foresters doubled their advantage early in the second half, capitalizing on an own goal in the 50th minute. Huntington added the final tally in the 72nd minute, to seal the 3-0 decision.
The Blue Devils generated plenty of chances with 14 shots – six coming from sophomore Alexander Prenkocevic – but were unable to beat Huntington goalkeeper, who finished with five saves to record the shutout. LTU's lone save came from keeper freshmen Daniel Manolache.
Lawrence Tech (0-5-1) continues its homestand with its next matchup, hosting Adrian College on Wednesday.Â
