Blue Devils go 3-1 in Rosemont Dome Tournament

CHICAGO, Ill. - In a neutral-site matchup in Chicago, Lawrence Tech fell 9-3 to Culver-Stockton (MO) despite an 11-11 tie in hits. The Blue Devils cut off an early Culver-Stockton lead in the second inning, plating two runs to briefly hold the score at 3-2. Alyssa Bloomfield led the offensive effort, going 3-for-4 with a triple and driving in all three of LTU's runs. However, Culver-Stockton took control in the fourth inning, erupting for five runs to break the game open. Delaney Monroe pitched a complete game for the Blue Devils, but the Wildcats' consistent pressure—highlighted by four doubles and four triples—proved too much to overcome.

In a dominant five-inning performance, Lawrence Tech overwhelmed Trinity Christian (IL) with an 11-0 victory in Chicago. The Blue Devils' offense exploded early, fueled by a five-run first inning and a six-run fourth inning, totaling 14 hits on the day. Lily Miller and Alyssa Bloomfield led the charge, with Miller going 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Bloomfield adding two hits and two RBIs of her own. Sarah Basket provided another masterclass in the circle, tossing a complete-game five-hit shutout while striking out seven batters to secure the lopsided win.

The Blue Devils Softball team will be back in action in Florida for their annual Spring Break Tournament, with game one scheduled on March 7th.
