Amelia (Mia) Adams of the Lawrence Technological University Women's Bowling team has officially secured her spot at the national championships. Competing in the collegiate women's division at the 2026 Intercollegiate Singles Sectional Qualifier in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on March 13, 2026, Adams faced a competitive field where only the top six bowlers advanced. Through six rigorous games of qualifying, she successfully claimed the final advancing spot, officially punching her ticket to Nationals.

    Adams delivered a clutch performance on the lanes, accumulating a total pinfall of 1208 to capture her sixth-place finish. While she started with games of 182 and 167, she quickly found her stride, rolling a standout 242 in her third game and a 233 in her fifth before closing out the qualifier with a strong 203. The Lawrence Technological University athletics community is incredibly proud of her achievement as she embodies the "#GoBlueDevils" spirit and prepares to represent the university on the national stage.
