FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Lawrence Tech opened the WHAC Tournament with a dominant 11-3 victory over Michigan-Dearborn in a game that was called after six innings due to the run rule. The Blue Devils' offense was relentless, recording 14 hits, including five doubles and a triple. The scoring onslaught was highlighted by a massive six-run sixth inning that featured a two-run home run by
Delaney Monroe and RBI extra-base hits from
Zoey Markey and
Sarah Basket.
Delaney Monroe had a standout game in the batters box, recording 3 hits with 3 RBIs and 2 runs as well as her two-run homer that ended the game in the 6th.Â
