SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Lawrence Technological University Athletics is proud to announce the Blue Devils Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026, recognizing three individuals whose accomplishments, leadership, and dedication have left a lasting impact on LTU Athletics. Ashley Collins, Kristi Doherty, and Blue Devil Legacy Award recipient Marloes Blokdijk will officially be inducted into the Lawrence Tech Athletics Hall of Fame this fall during the annual Hall of Fame ceremony on September 25, 2026, on the campus of Lawrence Technological University.
Ashley Collins, a standout member of the women's lacrosse program from 2015-2018, etched her name throughout the LTU record books during one of the most dominant careers in program history. The Hartland, Michigan native, who wore #2 as an attack player, earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Architectural Engineering while becoming one of the premier players in NAIA women's lacrosse.
Collins currently ranks third in program history in career goals with 224 and single-season goals with 78, while also ranking second in career assists with 148 and second in single-game goals after scoring eight goals twice during her career. She remains the all-time program leader in career points with 372. Her outstanding play earned her WHAC First Team All-Conference honors in 2015, 2017, and 2018, while also being named WHAC Honorable Mention in 2016 and WHAC Newcomer of the Year in 2015. On the national stage, Collins earned NAIA First Team All-American honors in both 2017 and 2018.
Joining Collins in the Hall of Fame Class of 2026 is women's volleyball standout Kristy Doherty. A native of Davison, Michigan, Doherty played for the Blue Devils from 2016-2019 as an outside hitter wearing #4. During her time at LTU, she became one of the most decorated players in program history while excelling both athletically and academically, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering in 2020 before completing her Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence in 2023.
Doherty's name sits atop multiple LTU volleyball records, including career assists with 4,190, career aces with 215, and single-game assists with 60. She also ranks second in single-season assists with 1,341. Her remarkable career included WHAC All-Conference honors in 2017, 2018, and 2019 while earning WHAC Freshman Team honors in 2017. Doherty was named WHAC Setter of the Year in both 2018 and 2019 before earning WHAC Player of the Year honors in 2019. Nationally, she earned NAIA First Team All-American recognition in 2019 and was named to the AVCA All-Region Team in both 2018 and 2019.
The Blue Devil Legacy Award will be presented to Marloes Blokdijk for her continued dedication and service to Lawrence Tech Athletics. Blokdijk served as the first athletic trainer in LTU Athletics history and played a major role in the department's growth and development. She later transitioned into administration and currently serves as Assistant Athletic Director for Student Welfare & Development and Senior Woman Leader.
Throughout her career at LTU, Blokdijk has remained committed to the health, development, and success of Blue Devil student-athletes. Her impact on the department was recognized when she earned Athletic Trainer of the Year honors in 2018-2019. She earned her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Eastern Michigan University before completing her master's degree in Sports Administration from Wayne State University.
The Lawrence Tech Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place on September 25, 2026, celebrating the accomplishments and lasting legacy of this year's inductees.
