Box Score SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The Blue Devils secured a 3-0 victory over the Golden Eagles. Lawrence Tech controlled the tempo early, heavily out shooting Cornerstone 8-3 in the first half. The offensive pressure paid off in the 16th minute when Felix Galvez struck an unassisted shot past Cornerstone goalkeeper to break the ice and put the Blue Devils ahead 1-0.
The Blue Devils kept their foot on the gas in the second half, continuing to pepper the Golden Eagles' backline. In the 69th minute, Artur Kataoka extended the lead to 2-0, capitalizing on a well-placed pass from Alexander Prenkocevic.
Lawrence Tech put the finishing touches on the shutout late in the match. Forward Andrew Cook found the back of the net, assisted by midfielder Light Rock, to push the final margin to 3-0.
The Blue Devils dominated the stat sheet, leading 16-7 in total shots and 7-2 in shots on goal. Blue Devils goalkeeper Noa Benallegue earned the clean sheet, stopping both shots he faced over the full 90 minutes.
