SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils celebrated Homecoming in dominant fashion, improving to 3-1 on the season with a commanding 56-15 victory over Judson University at Southfield. LTU took complete control of the game in the second half, exploding for 42 points across the third and fourth quarters while outgaining Judson 384 yards to 255 yards on an efficient 7.2 yards per play.
The offensive surge was anchored by running back Jon Jasionowski, who put on a stellar performance with 19 carries for 116 yards and three rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Ryan Schuster efficiently directed the passing attack, completing 10 of 20 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Brandon Kedrow delivered the biggest play through the air with three receptions for 87 yards, including a 53-yard touchdown strike, while Joey Pitsch added a 4-yard touchdown catch. Jaylen Flowers contributed to the ground game with 53 yards on six carries, highlighted by a 21-yard touchdown run.
Special teams and defense provided explosive moments to break the game open. Tyler Garrett ignited the third quarter with a electrifying 95-yard kickoff return touchdown, and kicker Franco Bella was perfect on the day, converting all eight of his extra-point attempts. Defensively, linebacker Jake DiFalco led the unit with 11 total tackles. The Blue Devils defense also created key turnovers, with DeOndrae Burns snagging an interception and returning it 8 yards alongside two pass breakups, while Ralph Gaston capped off the fourth-quarter dominance by returning an interception 15 yards for a touchdown. After taking a narrow 14-9 lead into halftime, LTU outscored Judson 14-6 in the third quarter and completely shut them out 28-0 in the fourth to secure the blowout victory.
