Enrolled at LTU in the fall of 2020 and is well on his way to earning a degree in media communications. D’Vaun is a transfer student from Central State University. 
2023
Played in all 10 games for the Blue Devils and accumulated 325 yards on 62 carries and 3 touchdowns. As a dual-threat running back, he also had 115 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. His longest rush of 70 yards came against Olivet Nazarene and his longest reception of 73 yards against Ave Maria.

High School
In his senior year, D’Vaun rushed for a total of 1900 yards, scored an impressive 31 touchdowns, and broke the school record for most touchdowns in a single game and the most yards rushed in a single game. He was also the Loyola High School athlete of the year. Was also the school's salutatorian, a member of the honors society, and a three-time member of the all-academic team.
