Enrolled at LTU in the fall of 2020 and played in 1 game of his true freshman season. Came in as a transfer from Bowling Green. Brycetyn is majoring in Business Management and Administration. 
2023
Did not play due to a knee injury.
2022
Played in a total of 8 games and punted for a total of 1019 yards. His longest punt came against Madonna, where he booted the ball 71 yards down the field and completely flipped the field for the Blue Devils. He also combined for a total of 11 punts inside the 20-yard line throughout the 8 games. He also had a single tackle on special teams. 
2021
Saw action in 5 games throughout the season and punted for 746 yards. His long of 48 yards came against BSCFB. He has four punts landed inside the 20-yard line, with 4 punts being fair caught. In his last game of the season against Indiana Wesleyan, he averaged 35.83 yards per punt. Also, in that game, he rushed the ball once for 7 yards. 
2020
Debuted in one game against St. Xavier and had one punt for 34 yards. 
High School
Was the Margaretta HS Valedictorian, as well as a 12-time letter winner (4x Football, 4x Baseball, 4x Basketball); all Ohio football special teams honors in 2020. Was inducted into the OHSAA State Football Hall Of Fame. Lastly, he earned All-League Honors (Sandusky Bay Conference) in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. On the football field, he earned over 2000 career rushing yards, a 40+ yard punt average, and was a two-time captain.
Personal
Son of Gregg and Cyndi Hedden and brother to Brevyn. Brycetyn is also a third-generation athlete and a second-generation family in education and coaching. He was born on March 3, 2001.
