Enrolled at LTU in the fall of 2023 and took a redshirt year as a true freshman. He is majoring in mechanical engineering.

Cayden did not appear in any games in his true freshman season; however, he was a vital part of the scout team, helping the team prepare for the week's opponent.

Was an honor roll student all four years of high school off the field. He also accumulated 120 career tackles, 5 forced fumbles, and 4 sacks. Was part of the Dapcep program as well as being accepted into the midnight golf program for high school seniors

Son of Carlos and Shelley Chapman, as well as brother to Cejay. Cayden was born on April 17, 2005.
