Former National Football League defensive end Ronald Talley is in his first season coaching LTU's defensive line in 2024.

Talley prepped locally at Detroit Renaissance in the early 2000s prior to a playing college football at Notre Dame and Delaware.

In a six-year NFL career, Talley had stints with the Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets, retiring in 2016 due to injuries.

He started his coaching career in the Metro Detroit area as an assistant at LTU head coach Scott Merchant's alma mater, Birmingham Brother Rice.
