Tyler Washburn comes to LTU after also serving on head coach Scott Merchant's staff at Chippewa Valley High School in Macomb Township, Mich.

There, Washburn coached Chippewa Valley's offensive line from 2017 through 2023.

In college, he played at Northwood University (Michigan) and Kentucky Christian as an offensive lineman.
