Blokdijk has worked at LTU as an athletic trainer since 2011, serving in the lead role before transitioning to the Blue Devils' athletics administrative team. Beginning with the 2023-24 school year, she serves as the assistant athletic director for student welfare and development.

Prior to LTU, Blokdijk provided sports medicine services to Brother Rice High School and William Clay Ford Center for Athletic Medicine in Detroit as part of the specialized sports rehabilitation team.

She received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Eastern Michigan University before completing her master's in sports administration from Wayne State University. Biokdijk also holds certifications as a National Academy of Sports Medicine Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and a Functional Movement Specialist (FMS).
