Lawrence Technological University

LTU 
A transfer student from Notre Dame College, she enrolled at LTU in the spring of 2023 and is currently majoring in mechanical engineering. She played in 17 games her freshman season; in her first game as a Blue Devil, she caused 2 turnovers and picked up 2 ground balls. However, Jocelyn’s biggest contributions on the field come from her incredible vision, endurance, and lacrosse IQ. Jocelyn has been named an IWLCA NAIA defensive player of the week 2 times. She also holds the NAIA tournament record for the most-caused turnovers in a game with 5.
2024
Started in all 18 games for the Blue Devils, scoring 30 goals and 3 assists. She also caused 37 turnovers and picked up 50 ground balls. Her most impactful game came against Marian, where she scored 3 goals, caused 6 turnovers, and picked up 6 ground balls, leading the Blue Devils to a 15-10 victory over the Knights. She was named to the 2024 NAIA All-Tournament Team and the 2024 WHAC Second Team All-Confrence.
2023 National Champions!
Played in 17 games while starting in 16, scoring 3 goals, causing 26 turnovers, and picking up 35 ground balls. Her biggest game came against Aquinas, where she caused 7 turnovers and picked up 7 ground balls, leading the Blue Devils to a 17-11 victory. She made the 2023 NAIA All-Tournament Team for her outstanding performance at the national tournament. 
High School
Played for Zeeland West High School and Westside Lacrosse Club as a defender and midfielder wearing jersey number 2. She was also a part of the National Honor Society and graduated with Distinguished Honors.
Personal
Daughter of Brian and Sonya Vander Zwagg, sister to Ashley. Academically, Jocelyn has been named a 2024 WHAC Academic All-Conference, 2024 CSC Academic All-District Women's At-Large, and a 2024 NAIA Daktronics Scholar All-American. She was born on October 29, 2003.
