Southfield, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University men's ACHA hockey team plays against University of Michigan-Flint on November 2 where the puck is set to drop at 6:30 p.m.
The Blue Devils enter this game 6-1 in the season with their only loss to the University of Notre Dame (Ind.) in their first game of the season. After this matchup on Friday, they head to Burton, Mich. to play the same team again on November 3. Leading the team is Andrew Storey (SR/Southgate, Mich.) with nine points from six goals and three assists. Right behind him is Josh Denomie (SR/Livonia, MI) with eight points from six assists and two goals. Splitting the time between the pipes has been Matt Magee (FR/Collegeville, Pa) and Brendan Machcinski (SR/Flat Rock, MI). Magee has 37 saves this season and seven goals against and Machcinski has 14 goals against and 36 saves.
UM-Flint is currently 0-6 this season and are led by Brandon Pirtle with six points from five goals and one assist. Right behind him is Andrew Carreras with five points from four goals and one assist.
After these two games, the team hosts Adrian College (Mich.) on November 11.
