SOUTHFIELD, Mich.- The Lawrence Tech Men's Soccer program saw themselves on the pitch at Blue Devils Stadium on Wednesday, October 14th^, taking on the Thunder of Trine University. The Blue Devils blanked the Thunder at home to the tune of 4-0. It marked the second win for the Blue Devils on the season and their second against an NCAA Division III opponent and MIAA school.

Overall the Blue Devils looked to be in a defensive battle with the Thunder of Trine with both teams locked in defensively early. It wasn't until the 33:53 mark that Blue Devil senior Juan Jaramillo knocked the ball in on a penalty shot to make it 1-0. Shortly after the Blue Devils found the back of the net, they found a wide-open Aleksander Spirovski to make it 2-0 at the 40:18 mark of the first half. Spirovski collected a yellow card earlier in the game at the 6:54 mark of the first half.

As the second half got underway, a slew of new starters for the Blue Devils showed it didn't matter who was on the pitch Wednesday night. One thing was for sure, and that was we are looking to push and score at any point. The Blue Devils did just that as Jaden King scored his first of two goals on the night at the 55:35 mark of the game, making it 3-0. However, that wasn't enough as Jaden King found the net's back to put the dagger in the Thunder at the 80:40 mark off the assist from Ethan Harkins to go ahead up 4-0. It was smooth sailing from there for the Blue Devils, who didn't allow a goal all night on defense and only allowed one shot on goal the entire game. Goalkeeper Riley Alexander grabbed his second clean sheet of the year.

Looking ahead, the Blue Devils take on the Grey Wolves of Lourdes University. The Blue Devils beat the Grey Wolves last season in an overtime thriller in Sylvania. Overall, the Blue Devils are 4-1 in the series against the Grey Wolves, winning the previous four out five games against them since October 3rd, 2015. The games slated for a 7 pm start on the pitch inside Blue Devils Stadium on Saturday, October 17th
