GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- The Lawrence Tech Women's Golf program headed to Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Tuesday, September 22nd, to compete in the annual Pure Michigan Invite hosted by Grace College. Overall the women's program shot a 335 as a team on Tuesday +47 over par, taking second place overall on the afternoon.
The Blue Devils took second place on Tuesday, marking their third straight top-3 finish on the season so far for the team. Overall the Blue Devils placed four players in the top-25 with three players falling in the top-10. Senior Sara Davis shot an 81 and was +9 over par, taking sixth place on the day. Davis also received an All-Tournament team placement as well. Rachel Kristian and Manasa Potluri both finished tied for seventh they shot and 82 on the day, going +10 over par. Lauren Hartline finished tied for seventeenth on the afternoon shooting a 90 and was +18 over par. Rounding out the team for the Blue Devils was Julia Lefere, who finished tied for twenty-seventh on the afternoon, shooting a 96 overall and going +24 over par.
The Blue Devils look ahead as they participate in the WGC Collegiate in Ypsilanti, Michigan, this weekend, a final tune-up for the team before the WHAC Women's Preview at Bedford Valley in Augusta, Michigan.
