BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - The Blue Devils womens golf team has been on fire lately, pocketing another 1st place finish. This time, it came at the Bethel Invite in Benton Harbor.
The Lawrence Tech women's golf team finished the Fall Classic at Harbor Shores with a total team score of 657, posting rounds of 331 and 326. Individually,
Tanawan Vetchayanvivat led the Blue Devils with a total score of 156 (79-77), demonstrating the most consistent play of the two days.
Wariya Turongkinanon followed with a total of 166 (85-81). Rounding out the team scoring were
Claire Hollingsworth with a 170 (80-90),
Alix Schickele with a 171 (87-84), and Cadence Beuckelare with a 172 (88-84). The team collectively shaved five strokes off their first-round performance to record the 326 in the second round to take 1st place.
The Blue Devils have finished the fall portion of the season on a high note and will look to continue their prowess as they head into the spring season.
