AUGUSTA, Mich. - The Lawrence Tech women's golf team captured yet another first-place finish at the WHAC Preview, ending at +54 overall as a team. The Blue Devils grabbed an early lead and never looked back, finishing 41 strokes ahead of the second-place team at the challenging Stonehedge Golf Course.
The Blue Devils were led by Cadance Beuckelare, who continued her impressive season by finishing at -1 under par to claim the individual medalist spot by a whopping 11 strokes. Right behind her was Wariya Turongkinanon, who took 2nd place overall at +10. Tanawan Vetchayanvivat put together a strong performance as well, finishing +18 to earn a share of 4th place, while Alix Schickele rounded out the team scoring in 10th place overall at +27. By placing all four scoring golfers inside the top 10, the Blue Devils showcased their complete dominance heading into the final stretch of the season.
