Men's Cross Country Takes Fifth at Oberlin College Invitational

Oberlin, OH - The Lawrence Technological University men's cross country team competed at the Oberlin College Invitational on Saturday, October 16th. LTU finished fifth out of 21 teams with a final score of 178. 

The top runner for LTU was freshman Conner Uppleger finishing in the top five with a final time of 26:46. Crossing the finish line just seconds later was teammate Nolan McGahan in eighth place with a time of 27:00. 

In the 33rd spot, with a time of 28:17 Hunter Assenmacher was able to hustle his way through the finish line.

Some other LTU runners were Tyler DeHaan with a time of 29:18 coming in 62nd place, Noah Rodriquez (30:49.0), Gavin Weber (30:49.4), Evan Wheeler (31:44), and Nathan Alton (31:55).

There was a total of 209 runners in the event.

The men's next cross country match is Saturday, October 23rd where they will travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan to compete in the Great Lakes Invitational hosted by Aquinas College. This event will begin at 8 AM.
